Our two-person Finnish sauna averages temperatures ranging from 70°C to 90°C, with a maximum heat of 110°C. Whether you’re looking to detoxify, relieve muscle tension, or simply unwind after a workout, our traditional rock-heated sauna provides the ideal setting for both physical and mental recovery.

Experience the invigorating power of cold therapy with The Recovery Club's Chill Tub. Averaging temperatures between 10-15ºC, our Chill Tub offers the ideal cold therapy for muscle recovery, reducing inflammation, and enhancing blood circulation.

Our strength station provides a range of strength and recovery equipment with kettlebells, dumbbells, resistance bands and a balance board. For deeper recovery, we have a massage gun, compression boots, and yoga mats to help with stretching, muscle relaxation and mobility.

🔥❄️ If you’re a fan of Dr. Andrew Huberman, the renowned Stanford neuroscientist, you’ve likely heard him discuss the powerful benefits of cold and heat therapy. Here’s a quick breakdown of his recommended thresholds for deliberate exposure to each:

Cold Exposure:
❄️Duration: Aim for a total of 11 minutes per week.
❄️Sessions: Distribute this time across 2 to 4 sessions, each lasting 1 to 5 minutes.
❄️Temperature: The water should be uncomfortably cold but safe to stay in for a few minutes.

Heat Exposure:
🔥Duration: Engage in 1 to 3 sessions per week, each lasting 20 to 30 minutes.
🔥Temperature: Use a Finnish sauna heated to 80–100°C.

🌟Research shows that the health benefits peak at a few minutes spent at 10-15°C, so there’s no need to push yourself to extremes or chase colder temperatures and longer durations!

🌟Listen to your body and try and enjoy the process- hop in the sauna to warm up afterwards and repeat a few cycles of contrast therapy if you feel confident doing so, ending on a cold note in our chill tub ❄️

We’re OFFICIALLY IN ACTION!! 🚀Today, we welcomed our first Recovery Club users into our suite and we couldn’t be more excited to help people get the most out of their recovery!

We thought we’d just outline what exactly we’re offering and the following slides cover a lot of questions we’ve had in the last few days! 👐🏼🔥🧊

Soooo.. I Thought i’d introduce myself for people who don’t already know me and explain a bit about how my first business, The Recovery Club came about! 🌟

I feel like lots of people go through this but In my mid twenties, I felt pretty lost and lacking direction and wasn’t where I wanted to be at this stage of my life.

I would add that I have some amazing people in my life and am very lucky in lots of way, however everyone needs focus…. so I went right back to the things I knew I loved when I was younger. Having routine again with my exercise was exactly what I needed- (especially after Covid) being outside, being social, giving myself goals and actively seeing myself getting fitter and better at running honestly gave me a new lease of life 🌱 combined with Improving my diet and how I treated my body, I gradually felt like I was getting my old self back and I felt determined and much happier.

It was obvious wasn’t it? I guess it was, but I know how easy it is to fall into bad routines and habits! Cut to.. nearly two years later, I’m opening The Recovery Club tomorrow and while I definitely don’t have it all figured out in life, I want to offer a space where people can work on themselves too. On their own, with a friend or training partner and through recovery, give themselves an opportunity to reset, relax and feel better!

That might have been a bit long, but I felt it was needed👐🏼 Now let’s launch this thing!🚀

We’d just set up the chiller so it was around 15 degrees- that was enough for me to start off! (It goes as low is 0.5 °C for those of you who love it cold cold)👐🏼
